Recent new services at St. Mary Hospital:
The
Sleep Disorders Unit is located in the Short Stay Unit on the fourth floor
of the main hospital and provides testing for narcolepsy, sleep apnea,
sleep paralysis and other sleep disorders. People spend about one-third
of their lives asleep. However, about four out of 10 routinely fail
to get enough sleep. More than 40 million Americans suffer from chronic
sleep disorders, and the majority of those disorders remain undiagnosed.
