A graduate of the prestigious Catholic University of Korea, he earned his Bachelor of Medicine in 1995. Driven by a passion for advancing medical care, he further pursued a Master's degree in Internal Medicine and culminated his academic journey with a Ph.D. in Internal Medicine from the same institution, solidifying his expertise in the field. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Kim has held significant roles, including serving as a Resident at St. Mary's Hospital and completing an internship at Daejeon St. Mary’s Hospital. His commitment to global healthcare advancement led him to the University of California, San Francisco, for specialized training in 2011. Presently, he is a Clinical Professor and Department Head of Respiratory Medicine at the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, where he combines academic excellence with compassionate patient care. At Bucheon St. Mary’s Hospital, Dr. Kim leads the respiratory medicine team, offering world-class care to patients. Known for his meticulous approach and dedication, he provides consultations every Tuesday afternoon, focusing on lung cancer.
